Sometimes you’re the hammer and sometimes you’re the nail. Most definitely the nail on this morning’s TDZ stage 3. Just had nothing in the legs and went backwards through the field from the bottom of the climb.

500m left for the Tron bike. Meant to be meeting up for an irl ride tomorrow with a mate, so going to have to wait until Monday.

One hour split squat circuit, getting into these, interspersed with plank, stretch, core.

One hour easy turbo

57 mins on tt bars, av hr 130.

Watch to prove it was done today, some clown commented that I was putting “ old” turbo sessions up… who would do that…?!

Thinking about adding lifting next week. I miss it.

1st core for a few weeks, easy easy, then 1/2 hour on Wattbike with 2 tiny 2 minute intervals. First bike for a while due to snow (outside), boredom (inside) and Christmas holiday debauchery.

Did some run intervals
5 x 90 seconds on/off

Not done them before so hard to pace.
Was close to failure (and then failure) on 3 & 4
5:30/5:30/5:15/5:12/5:10 pace

Even got my HR up to 157

My week…

170km bike, mainly zwift.
14km running
1 hour online karate instruction that I took a half hour for (for my records)…what sensei doesn’t see, sensei doesn’t know!

Disguises massive change of focus/outlook…

I’m moving to 4-6 runs a week now to get my run fitness back and start sorting the weight loss. Enjoying it already.

Expect the tritalk playlists will come in v handy…
