looking at the forecast, I think a long turbo session beckons!

I’ve done that session a few times: foul.

Me, on the other hand, is nursing a slight hangover so just done a 35 minute walk.

That’ll do today.

60 miles with a couple of mates. Had to borrow my son’s school bike as my road bike is all boxed up, waiting to get the seatpost removed. Unsurprisingly, found it a bit of a struggle despite sitting at the back for the whole ride. Good way to start the week though.

First time at the gym today since Christmas Day.

I thought I’d been maintaining things with a few kettlebell sessions every week. Oh dear god it was hell.

The doms will be real tomorrow

1 min assault bike, no arms.

Pt set were he thought I was at, and completed it!

Running for 15 mins on the spot in the hot water bubbles, just been for sports massage and calf seems to be mending ok.

Bit of a quiet week for me last week, only managed 2 bike rides but they were a double Zwift header and the 25, so quality rather than quantity.

Managed about 30k or running but mostly steady, although Saturday’s run did include some walking, risk management!

Couple of swims and gym sessions but I was due an easy week even if it was vaccine enforced

Anyway, 13K on the trails today and a few exercises in the gym, if I can get motivated I might pop on the wattbike for 30 minutes later.

Had been at the workshop today with a plan of an evening swim (Bank Holidays I can only go after 2pm)

Got there about 6pm to be greeted by the lovely young woman behind reception

“Bad news. Poop in the pool, so shut until the morning”

Couldn’t be arsed with the 20m outdoor pool, so will sneak in a session before treadmill intervals in the morning.

I’m now visualising Eddie Murphy at the Playboy party pool incident :joy:

oddly I quite enjoyed it until the 3km set - then I could have happily melted the C2 down, but by then you are too deep into the session to stack it.

Can I be arsed with a 30 minute jog in this rain?

No. No I can’t. I’m treating it as Sunday evening and cracking open a beer.

Back on it tomorrow

I did get on the Wattbike for an easy peddle, 300M closer to the TRON!

:joy: I chose the same. Coffee and chocolate on the sofa with some TV. Did 30 mins of yoga as a peace offering. :joy:

3 days no training. Not that keen on the early swim tomorrow either.

Tired today :zzz::sleeping_bed::sleeping:

Arms are wrecked from the five hours on the TT bars.

Did 9 x 200m as the standard free, paddles, pull, pulls and paddles and repeat. Plus 200m cool.
