4 x 1 mile this morning, rest 2:00 in between. Average pace 6:30 which is quicker than anything else I’ve churned out recently.

At lunch, 30 minute spin class.

Nice to see me making sub 1:28s now
1km Pull and paddles

Up to the dreadmill for 45 minutes in the bowels of hell due to lack of air con

Mate, I could have a 5 hour powernap most days.

161km on the TT bike in the pouring rain, well, the first 60km was dry, then 20km of deciding if it would rain, then 80km of YEAH THIS IS RAIN.

Did the route I recommended to @mw22 :+1:t3:

Then a quick car boot change and off for the most miserable 5km I’ve done in my life.
4:30/km pace at 131bpm (I think I’ve broke myself)

Forgot to press start at Bakewell to Belper, so it’s missing 20km :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: (back up device has it on)

So…this week;

20 mile run in 24 degrees :white_check_mark:
2.4 mile swim in 21 degrees :white_check_mark:
100 mile TT ride in the rain :white_check_mark:

One more big session Monday, and that’s it!!!
It best not rain :negative_squared_cross_mark:

EVERY day I’ve had booked off work to do a long, solo TT ride it’s either rained, hailed, or snowed.

Pretty pleased I’ve done a few 200km rides in the sun with pals, otherwise I’d be miserable

Oh, I was also ill for last Saturdays ride (which seemed to pass just in time to sink some proper pints in the afternoon :see_no_evil::rofl:)

I was out at 7am in bibs & ss jersey for a lumpy 75 miles.

Great weather, you should pop across to Wales sometime :joy:.

Only across the boardwalk and Deesside to get to Wirral :see_no_evil_monkey:
(We did go to Llandudno and Conwy the other week :scream:)

:+1:

Never rains in Wales

I’m glad to see that you & Drakeford have settled your differences.

Went for a run at dinner time in the Next% with a 5K effort, which hurt! Think it was about 19:32, will update the trainer thread later.

Last K was horrible, little dig of a climb then into the headwind :grimacing:

Got a decent lunch run in before my 2nd AZ jab. Last time I was conked out the following day. I’d planned to do a 2hr ride so that might be off now. Might switch it for 1h zwift on Sunday instead.

Day off today. Was to be going down to Lakesman but bailed on that. Too overweight and undertrained for a half right now probably plus, y’know twins’ birthday weekend, no accommodation.

Instead, nice day of pootling, few home type jobs, cafe brunch, and going for a swim and a ride. Nothing long, 30 minute mile then a 40km flat ride, NP 231. And instead of a tent for the night we have our own beds and have hired a hot tub which the kids may never leave…

Karate grading tomorrow morning too - pleased I’m managing to incorporate it. That and a few free weights is all my s&c right there. Maybe a few beers tonight while the football is on. Many more when I get that most deadly of belts…yellow…:joy::wink:

ETA Demented cat and kids jumping in and out of hot tubs is brilliant for mystery puddles all over your house…

As long as you can do a half decent crane kick you’ll be fine. :+1:
