That is very low. I was quite pleased with my 130 bpm average for 5 minute kms last night. I reckon I can only get mine as low as that cycling

Do I just rest it until next Sunday, with just my cycle commutes done steadily on Mon and Tues, or head out for a jog tmw and see how it reacts?
My mara prep has been sub optimal in the last couple of weeks (also a bit of an experiment). Not running for a fortnight before the race is pushing things a bit far though!

No idea. Nothing new. It just twinged and went yesterday when I was raking leaves. No early warning or anything. Think it was just a freak accident.

Shocking parkrun for me, nice tailwind for the first 3K, then into a block headwind!
Still struggling with this cold
, main symptoms have gone but well off where I was 2 weeks ago. Glucose is going berserk as well

Possibly, but I think itās a pulled/twinged muscle. So not sure if a massage would help or not. Also symptoms of the kidsā cold getting a tad worse. Normally I shake them off pretty quick but the sore throat is hanging around. World not pulling in alignment with me at the mo it feels like!
Death by calories with BIL on rower, bike, ski
3 calories the first minute, four calories the second minute, five calories the third minute etc etc until unable to get the required calories within the minute interval. Starts easy finishes

1:45 on the plan. Mrs M at work. Kids doing jobs. Then frees up the afternoon.
It wasnāt too bad. Stick some music on and off I go
45 minute gym session.
Rowing 5k, 0.5k then weighted bridges, squats, calf raises and side planks.
Ended up a touch stuck for timeā¦
So 10 k instead of a steady low hr hour run.
Started very slow and built up, no time for warm up.
43:05 which is my fastest run for some time.
Hr 147⦠which is not accurate�!?
