Training - What Training?!

I think you get a dq for leaving your pink/purple bag these days

Well still quicker to just rip an empty bag off the peg and carry it in your hand. :muscle:

Horrific :snowflake::face_vomiting::see_no_evil:

Longest jog for three months.

Coldest jog since 2011

That genuinely must have been foul. I can only imagine the state of your kit afterwards (no euphemism).

I managed a far more civilised 30 minute spin class.

2nd crap week in a row for me. Been fighting this sickness bug so training has been the last thing I’ve wanted to do since Tues. Its just sapped all my energy.

Hoping to do something tmw morning, but not sure what yet. I’m still not firing on all cylinders, so can’t decide whether to go for a plod or just jump on the turbo.

3 hr slow run with Mrs T

Full waterproofs on from the get go

Rain. Sleet. Snow. Hail. The complete works.

3 degrees -1 with windchill according to BBC

Saw a kingfisher for the first time by the canal though - absolutely made up. Incredible vivid blue colours.

Mrs T’s Apple Watch showing her short of the desired distance and she insisted on keeping going until it did. Ended up at 3 hrs

Got out this morning. Still not feeling right and not sleeping well at the mo, which I think is having an impact on my ability to shift this bug. Normally I’m pretty resilient to any illness.

Felt like binning it off within 500m, but persevered. Very windy.

Stupidly ran 26km at 4.17/km. Way too far, fast and hard for how I was feeling.

Time will tell whether it’s a point for perseverance or a point for stupidity!

12.5km into a yet to be determined easy run. Coffee 1 in Wells was to good to run past!
It’s grim out there

16 hours for the week

5 swims - 18km
5 rides - 8 hours on Zwift
4 runs - 2 treadmill intervals / 2 outdoor
1 session in the gym

Aerobic HR coming back, but run form seems to be hibernating

14km all up. A run of 3 parts.

6.5kms with my old mate, then 6km on my own, quick coffee then 1.5km home.

1:25 at 6.07 pace. Miserable day!

Grim, but nicer than expected

40 steady miles on the bike, this morning. Feeling a bit more confident after my two offs last month. Really feeling the extra lumber on the climbs so going to get my diet back under control over the next few weeks.
