Got a very similar crack on my Shimano tri shoes, can’t say I’ve noticed any issues. I was crap before and still am :joy:

Decided to enter a 10 mile TT tomorrow, so today (after my ~10km this morning) that I better go recce the course, so this afternoon, max effort 10mile TT, sadly 244watts for 27:30 is a max effort, HR extremely low but that’s not much use when I can’t go any faster.

First interval session for a few months: 6x500metres. Last rep was feeling a bit tough, the telephone ringing pushed me over the edge and stopped, probably 100m before I would have had to stop anyway! Good benchmark for the coming weeks.

Only been back in the pool once a week for last 8 weeks. Trying to just get back into it. Tried a longer set today; no breaks - just lapped the watch to see some splits. RPE felt the same throughout. Oh my :see_no_evil:

Yes, I haven’t been swimming in a couple of weeks now. Life just getting in the way.

Down in Cornwall but haven’t plucked up the courage to take a dip in the sea.

I was in the Moray Firth yesterday, it was more surviving than training. I’d leave courage to the ejits and just head to the pub instead.
