That reminds me, I watched a program a few weeks back where a woman was introduced as training to be a life coach. What does that involve, being alive?
You know when a consultant borrows your watch, tells you the time, then charges you an outrageous fee for doing so? A life coach taught them that.
It probably didn’t
Oh, I see…you should tout for business on IMJ with sage advice like that
Apparently telling people they might find it beneficial to swim in training doesn’t go down too well on IMJ.
Maybe i should statr ranting at you and digging out details about where you live and all that!

You can lead an AG triathlete to water but you can’t make the swim.
Well unless it’s @gingerbongo then you can.
I don’t know why you guys bother. Surely it’s similar to slamming your nuts in a drawer?
Swimming, or going on IMJ? I only indulge in the former.
I was asking about the latter but the former would apply to me.
Done almost zero this week.
But I did get to walk down the red (although it was blue) carpet at The Rise of Skywalker European premiere in my First Order Snowtrooper costume with 90+ other characters
Tried a new arrangement today, in what is my last swim before Christmas:
2x (400/200/100/50)
6:34/3:13/1:32/43
6:29/3:13/1:32/43
I find 200 the hardest distance tbh, gets my O2 debt nice and high.
It was supposedly a light week this week but work and running around still has me feeling knackered!
40km run ( inc 2 x quality tempo and 1 x quality speed)
90 mim turbo over 2 sessions. Easy 70 min spin this morning and good quality hard 20 min session Tues. Was meant to have another session Thurs evening but had to work late.
Higher volume run week coming up, which will be interesting with Xmas and ‘stuff’.
Not much training but a bit of motivation does wonders for my ego. Zwift 20k TT and I was fighting for 28th place with 3 other people. I’m not looking forward to my next ERG workout now.
.
That’s a huge increase, well done. What time did that give you, 23-24 mins?
I managed a steady parkrun while going to collect my car from work, 14k in total with the parkrun in 21:30 but was talking to a friend most of the way.
Jeff
39km/h
It was nearly 23km (zwift made-up distance) in about 34 mins
Managed to get the bike setup for winter with the new wheels and mudguards, although the back brake is still rubbing quite a bit, I’ll call it resistance training for now.
Might even get out on it tomorrow for a short test ride.
Jeff
I saw that run - hungover?
2 runs, 1 Wattbike and 1 Strength and core this week.
3 hrs 40 minutes/ TSS 248.
Swimming is not on the agenda for a while.
