He’s probably getting counselling now
Yeah, bike still has actual wheels on from yesterday.
So I’d have to take them off, put it on the turbo, then take it off, put different wheels back on for the TT tomorrow evening.
Or if I run, I’m not gonna be back until 1730.
And I’ve gotta prep supper and walk the dog too.
And what’s a short 30 minutes gonna do?
Naff all!!!
Well that depends on what you do!
1 min 1 min off big effort… Plenty!
30 minutes of Emily’s short mix on Zwift feels anything but short
I bailed at 20 minutes last time.
Might copy @gingerbongo 's lead and have another go before swimming tonight actually
Edit: or there again might not . Did go swimming though
Yes, several times I’ve liked to have a quiet word with Emily!
1800m swim.
1:35/100m average.
6 x 300m drills
Did one 300m rep as 6 x 50m moderate because I was bored
Knew it
You morning types (who are men) are doing it wrong
Dammit. Does my run I just did now not count?!
Outdoor hosepipe showers are getting tedious now!
Yep, same here as well!
7km run with my mate. He was doing a workout so we ran 2 x miles (whatever the hell they are) at 8.40 pace, with a 3 min recovery and really easy warm up and cool down, which averaged a 6.24/km pace.
Tipping with rain which was surprisingly chilly.
First session for a few days due to ComicCon
Pool was bath like again.
Spoke to the manger who confirmed it was
29 degrees as “the majority of members like it that warm”
Only managed 3 x 400m off 6:45 and 8 x 100m off 1:45 until I had to go outside and cool down.
Then did 3 x 500m pull and paddles
29° is ridiculous.
Do you get dizzy and a headache?
I do and it’s bloody awful.
Pool temp was GORGEOUS last week and the weekend, but it’s back to being a bath this morning
Hopefully they’ll turn it down with the new heating costs!
Yep.
Any reps over about 200m and it’s just misery
I like the pool warm but that’s ridiculous!
Good prep for Frankfurt tho
I was memeber of a gym and they had a pool that warm. Was horrific for actually swimming in.
The main one I swim in is a competition pool which is usually perfect temp.
Frankfurt is usually 22-25?
Assuming jorgan isn’t there, when it’s literally evaporating as you swim
Yeah, I’ve been doing shorter runs recently that’s true. It felt good to run longer for a change.
Longer runs mean a bigger breakfast
