Virtual Zwift Rides

have a look at zwift insider posts and chris pritchard youtube vlogs. they are great for data and tests on the various bike, wheel, bike+wheel comparisons.
when you level up on zwift using the XP you’ll unlock more gear as you know. so you can go into the shop on zwift and buy that gear, then choose fastest combo going forward.
tron is worth getting imho. most high ranking events you can see a good 50% on tron bike on undulating courses.
recently though you see more venge s works with the super disk. i know minimal difference but in some mass sprints it can come down to 000s sec. i actually raced once and was equal to 000sec with another guy. cant remember who won the chocs on that.
but before tron, disc etc just keep levelling up and grabbing faster, deeper rimmed wheels and faster nonTT frames.

For a TT race, thats a different matter.

As I said, I have Tron, 808s, Lightweits and 808/super9. Tarmac Pro frame and will be getting Felt IA at lvl 37. (I am 35 now). I guess the thing I’m missing is a fast general road frame.

ah sorry its the first time ive chatted with someone trying to get the fastest bike/wheel set without doing any form of racing. check the pritchard link, and zwift insider on facebook for the speed tests, data

Yeah looking at the Pritchard stuff now mate, cheers. :+1:

Sounds like Tron fastest for you until you get Felt AR or venge sworks.
For the alpe, or a personal kom change to tarmac pro and lightweight wheels just before you start the kom

Cheers mate. :+1:

Basically it comes down to :-
Tron beats everything over flat rolling unless you have Zipp 858/Super9 wheelset
then get the venge with that. The Zipp 858/Super9 is only available at about L45 the normal 808/disk is slower than the Tron

As Daz also said tarmac pro and lightweights for mountains

TT bike if non drafting :- Felt IA (L37) or shiv disk if not that high (L18)

I’ve got the normal Shiv and wondering if buying Shiv disc is worth it. I’ve got 1.2m drop right now but don’t do TTs very often.

Your saddle is too low.

Possibly…

I really need 165mm cranks though for my little legs, otherwise my CDA is way too high.

Looks like there was a few more on tonight.

Wow that’s a lot of elevation

Hell!!!

2 hours :scream::scream::scream:

Are these now public?

I had planned a 180km ride to Holme Mos today, via the TdF Grand Depart route, but it’s raining and foggy, so no bueno.

I fancy a four hour sesh on Zwift for some easy XP…might complete Richmond and Yorkshire as a warm up
