London Triple Loops … any ideas on estimated time?

2.5-3.2 w/kg average, something like that?

It’s 41km with 544 elevation in the back half. Is that a 90 min ride?

2.5W/kg would easily be under 90 minutes.

I go to ZwiftHub first to check what routes I’ve not done.
Then look at the route via the link to Zwift Insider.
Then finally estimate a finish time on BBS.

Places like the jungle swap to an MTB and you’ll easily beat the BBS time.

Yeah i did that, except the BBS bit. Never used that before. I always find it hard to estimate times as i have no idea what speed Zwift gives for a given power and over various terrain. I’m looking at what routes i can tick off in my lunch break today.

Lot of sandbagging in B today. Three or four guys ahead going over 4.5/kg. I was 13th on paper, but at least half of those ahead will get DQd.

ETA - 6th on ZP and finally improved my score by 7.1 :+1:. And FTP improvement :sweat_smile:

Boost mode Crit done. Plan was to settle in for 2 laps then charge my booster on 4 increments on laps 3-6 just after the cobbled climb as I reckon folk take a rest there and down the rollers.

Nice group 6/7 and I boosted as planned - it costs you 50 watts while charging, but stayed in the group. I was fully charged then, and also had a ghost and an easier lap 7.

Felt confident, plan was to boost and ghost up the climb, keep boosting and hang on…hit boost, upped the watts then laptop went crazy, minimised my screen. I fumbled around trying to maximise, by the time I was back group was 10 secs gone.

Grrrrr…

Happy 100k group ride (race) this morning a few laps of the Fuego Flats at 212w average. Won the sprint for 31st

You will really not feel great for 8 after 7!!!

8 culminates in an 8min free ride, which is a pseudo/FTP test.

I was shot for it so just recovered :see_no_evil:
Workout 7 is ridiculous.

Might have a change of plan. If Little doesn’t want to run, then a replica of the race I did on Friday is happening at 4.30. Could be a good chance to see if I’ve learnt anything. (unlikely :smile:)

Did the same ZHR crit race. Overall power was down on last week but I guess everyone had hard weekends because I came 7/39 in C grade according to ZP.

Lost wifi on my phone so had zero power ups ( otherwise I would have won, totes :grin:)

I’ve noticed most of the races I’m doing now have no Power-Ups. I wonder if they’re less prevalent now.
