Virtual Zwift Rides

I’m not that fussed Jeff. I’ll just do it in a couple of weeks or something

So ticked off this badge.

Immediately regretted it when there was a large bang and I lost all resistance.

:man_facepalming:

snapped belt?

Bugger.

Aye

That sucks!

Can you replace it yourself or does it have to go back to the dealer?

OMG :astonished:

113watts yet over 30kph  must be very aero

That’s unlucky. I hope Elite will fix it ASAP and some spares as you have these badges to collect

They send out replacements for a DIY fix. Just unclear on how long that will take. I’ve emailed them photos, my proof of purchase and my address in the hope I can avoid some to and fro-ing and they just send out the replacements immediately.

Does your belt have any markings on it?

Can get most poly v belts online fairly easily

The Direto owners group I’m in on facebook has links to third party ones that work. But they’re talking of this supplier now being sold out. A load of people seem to have made a run on spares “just in case” when the lockdown started.

Belt looks pretty std. Contact your local bearing stockist, I’d be surprised if they don’t have a fit.

How old is it?

I think the belt can snap if you leave it plugged in :smirk: Seriously though, hope you get it sorted. I nearly bought one just in case.

14 months. So we’ll inside the EU 2yr limit. But Elite are known to fix this issue for the life of the trainer from what I understand

Something must be wrong, I got a Zwift KOM today…

Anyone know what Titans Grove is and how a Watt Pauper like me could get a KOM on Zwift?

Frolicking Wi-fi connection dropped and lost the upload for Muir and the mountain this afternoon. That’s over 800m of ascent lost today.

Be strong!!! We have all experienced the wrath of the connection gods. Even Luke Rowe of Ineos suffered them yesterday at the start of the Pro Rouvy race.
