Virtual Zwift Rides

Yes, I think so, Daz or Matt will confirm, like you say he just goes long off the front I think and either stays away or softens up the field for his sprinters!

I watched one where there was loads of sprints.
He was out the back every sprint. On his own.

Every time, he just kept the churn. Caught the group, then went off the front .

BL13 really need to be put back into the showcase events, easily the most entertaining team.

WHY THE HECK DID I GET DQd

:face_with_symbols_over_mouth::face_with_symbols_over_mouth::face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

(Oh, do you have to do all four races???)

You don’t.

But you can’t do no.2 if you haven’t done no.1.

It’s to stop the snipers coming in and just doing race 4.

How many did you do?:rofl:

TDZ stage 2 long this afternoon 3 laps of UCI Richmond reverse.
Pretty punchy ……currently on Zwiftpower at 96th place.
What are the races you are all smashing?

The tiny races are 4 races in an hour on a Saturday, about 4-6k of absolute misery and mayhem! They run about 3 times during the day at 9am, 3pm and erm :man_shrugging:t2:

The iTT is the current Zwift series, about twenty past the hour on most days? Seem to be 9K upwards

Missing the real fun on Thursday night Jeff :grimacing:

Was trying to break him gently before he faces the pain train :joy:

I enjoyed last week. Having 6 made it so much better.
Can’t even imagine what 8 would be like!!

Hi guys, the short track speed skater on the team with massive watts is Ethan Treacy. I think he has the Uni world champs on 19th. Will then be joining his brother Niall on the World Cup circuit after that. They are both awesome on Zwift. I think Ethan reached Top5 world ranking a month ago.
We’ve got a lot of good diesels and climbers like Andy Nichols and Mihail Utkin.
You mentioned Michael Gamst. Yeh he’s awesome. The guy has balls! And as you say, he will keep attacking to mess a race up. Sometimes he’ll get away. But if he doesn’t and it’s a team event, then the rest of the team can sit in the group and save themselves.

I quite enjoyed doing 3 laps of Richmond UCI reverse for TdZ stage 2 yesterday. I got into a good little group.

I can’t say that I’m looking forward to La Reine for stage 3 and Surrey Hills for stage 4. I’ve done Surrey Hills before a few times and it’s awful. Not much use for double draft there

Bologna for the iTT this week then. That’s going to need its own dedicated session.

Bike swaps allowed? :grimacing:

Eh?

Surely you mean 3.9 laps :rage:

That lead-in was ridiculous!!!

Expecting some 15’s :flushed:

I’ve only managed a 15 in a race… no way I’m doing that iTT!!!

Hard to compare the previous efforts, as races skew everyones times.

Worryingly my mid to low 17s came at the same power I had for last weeks 12minutes :flushed:

I always struggle on that Bologna hill. Must be in the head because a watt is a watt, isn’t it? :man_shrugging:

Think I’ll try riding at lower than target power for the first 6km so am not completely cooked for the climb, like usual.

Let’s hope you’ve not got @Tupperware starting 15 sec behind you. Cause that can seriously affect starting wattage!!
