Yeah, I probably need to do that to see where I am. Might go to tri-club spinning tonight as well, don’t normally get to but Mrs isn’t working so it’s possible today.
Zwift hub arrived yesterday, but was in work and didn’t get back until quite late. Was then too tired to go mincing about in a dark, cold shed. Hopefully will get a chance at the end of the day to at least set it up, if not have a proper ride.
Hopefully can then kick on from there and actually do some cycling!
Well that was the start. Kids are home now and need attention. Plus now I have to prepare the rest of dinner.
Still - Hub is built, in position, bike on, firmware updated and linked to Zwift with everything working.
Much smaller footprint than the Saris I was borrowing and the Tacx I’d tried previously which is a positive for space poor people like me. It’s not as heavy, which I don’t think will be an issue as I’m not gonna be sprinting at 1k Watts any time soon! Overall, the packaging, tools, instructions etc were all spot on. Very beginner friendly. Kudos to zwift there.
Had another go at the flat fast race, smaller field and generally a slower pace but a few people chanced breakaways. One stuck at the end as someone dropped nearly 7W/KG for at least a minute and won by about 7 seconds!
Got a few points though after a better than usual timed sprint.
