I need a sleep after seeing that.

Double days the last two days, bike and run.
11km run on the 11th
12km run on the 12th
Edit whoops, Iām talking nonesense as actually those ^ were today the 16th and yesterday the 15th I got mixed up with them being my 11th and 12th run of the year
It was just a coincidence but made me wonder if anyone has done the same number of kilometers as the day of the year consecutively.
If so how far did they get? 50km but then you would have done 49km and 48km the two days before. I might try it one year.
You could try it by day of the month so 1st Feb you go back to 1km, 2nd Feb 2km etc.
Had an overnight migraine, woke up with a headache and rough but improved as the day progressed. Then had a local for dental work this afternoon and couldnāt drink very easily
So, rest day and hopefully back on it tomorrow.
16/1 6k easy run with zl
Yes! Poet suggested this fun little diversion last year
At least, it was fun in week 1.
By week 3 the fun was getting a little old, I managed 21 days in the end but some of those were split into 2 runs & also there was at least 1 walk in there masquerading as a run.
It (obviously) gets harder and harder to find the time in the day to do it
IIRC @explorerJC did an advent calendar challenge adding 1km per day through December, and made it to Christmas
The first of Mungos ten tasks 2025 ticked off
Early doors too!
13 press ups per min for an hour.
Just a tester really ⦠I knew Iād get 35-40 mins but then thought Iād fail.
Kept going till the end and all sets were done in 13ās ( not dribs and drabs like I thought I might have to do)
Means nothing to 99% of people ( even on a fitness orientated site) means the world to me!
Last 6/7 sets were grim⦠AF
Wonāt be swimming for a few days.
Happy weekend !
Wow - 780 press ups in an hour
I sympathise totally Jeff. Hope you are better now.
6km easy road run for me, 32.20
The āeasiestā target this year, yet the last ten mins were far from easy.
IIRC I e done 900 in an hour during covid ( no gyms)
Be miles off that now
A vastly underrated simple exercise that can be done Anywere with no kit.
17/1 am 5k easy run with zl
17/1 pm 9k run including 10 reps of Campion Hill
KITT (I have now named my watch) spoke to me today. Itās clearly achieved sentience with this:
Too bloody right, KITT.
Trained twice today.
First thing, 30 minute spin class.
Tonight swim. Yes swim. 3rd swim in 4 months.

Absolutely ballbagged.

Managed to get 4x long commute rides home, this week, and hopefully out tomorrow for my first 100k ride in ages; probably since November. Need to get some bike fitness back with a couple of audax rides booked in for the Spring. Also have a guaranteed entry to London-Edinburgh-London audax, but canāt see me biting the bullet on that, atm.
Beat my record last week with a 26k step day whilst not actually going anywhere!
After two days solid of lifting and moving my body was in absolute pieces going to bed. Slept like I was in a coma!
Hand and forearms are just starting to recover ready for more lifting and moving!
